About Charlotte Rademaekers
Charlotte founded Call2Action in 2007 to combine her passions for meaningful media, innovative technology and progressive social initiatives. She has been featured in numerous publications as a social entrepreneur and a female CEO in tech. AdAge described Call2Action as a top woman-owned tech start-up in "Where Are the Women in Tech, You Ask?" and Fast Company's Allyson Kapin named Call2Action as one of the "25 Women-Run Startups to Watch". Prior to Call2Action, Charlotte worked in advertising and documentary for 7 years with TV spots for United Way, American Express, Fanta, Splenda and Motrin and shows on TLC, National Geographic and A&E. In that time, she wrote, directed and edited several award-winning shorts. She also worked in new media building innovative, educational, video-based websites for Columbia University, her alma mater, where she graduated magna cum laude. Charlotte recently joined a Columbia University panel on Leading Trends in Digital Philanthropy and presented at Techweek 2012 for the panel "Women Tech Leaders Who Are Changing the World." In November, she will be speaking to over 100 global business leaders at the CSR Online Awards Seminar in Turin, Italy about innovative online marketing for CSR initiatives.
