Kleenex partnered with Yale researchers to help show middle school kids how universal the back-to-school jitters can be. In this moving new spot, a group of kids not only share their anxieties among each other, but also create care packages of uplifting notes and drawings for others like them.
In an effort to help make a dent in the alarming school drop-out rate, Whirlpool is providing clean clothes for students as part of their Care Counts program. The initiative installs washers and dryers in schools across the country that have low attendance rates. The program has already been an incredible success with over 90% of students in the program increasing their attendance over the previous year.
Parents who want to help their kids succeed in school with some homework support have a new ally in the website BeALearningHero.org. On the site, parents can find easy definitions, tips, and tools to help kids at all grade levels.
