Ever wanted to find out what your community is doing to increase graduation rates and improve income and health needs? We worked with United Way on a new online interactive map that illustrates amazing stories that show the impact and improvements being made in your hometown! This new component of United Way’s LIVE UNITED campaign, which originally launched in 2008, highlights the real change happening around the country thanks to local United Way organizations. It’s a wonderful way to show supporters of United Way how their work is making a difference.
To complement the campaign, new PSAs, created pro bono by McCann, on community engagement efforts have been released, along with a second series in partnership with the NFL. Those spots aim to encourage kids to be active for at least 60 minutes a day, the key message of PLAY 60, the NFL’s youth health and wellness campaign. Russell Wilson of the Seattle Seahawks and players from each of the 32 NFL teams have teamed up with United Way to drive this message home.
