Today the Ad Council launched a new version of our digital distribution platform, PSACentral.org. It’s the first site where all Ad Council PSAs are available to preview and download. As part of our growing efforts to embrace fast, easy and green technologies, media partners, campaign sponsors and educators can now visit one site to access our HD and SD TV, radio, print, online, mobile and outdoor media PSAs.
From day one, we developed the site with our end users in mind. Your feedback contributed to several key features of the new site, most significantly:
1. Targeted Search
The new site features faceted search functionality with options to filter PSAs by media type, file format, length or size, issue area, target audience, release date and expiration date.
2. Download Options
The new site allows users to bulk download PSAs, email PSAs and save PSAs to FTP servers directly from the site.
Prior to today’s launch, our partners used multiple platforms to access our PSAs, including a previous version of PSA Central. Some media outlets also receive our PSAs in the form of hard kits with tapes. Through the new PSA Central, we can offer a digital delivery system that fits seamlessly within our partners’ business models and allows them to select PSAs that are most relevant to their communities.
The relaunch of PSA Central was a tremendous collaboration, and we are thrilled to share the results! As the new PSA Central continues to evolve with new technologies, our users will remain an integral part of every step we take.
