Damn, cool website. I actually came across this on Ask Jeeves, and I am really happy I did. I will definately be coming back here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table, but am just absorbing as much info as I can at the moment.

Having had a career in advertising sales your comments were great. You made me think of creative uses of a facility and companies that would benefit by using it. It is exciting.

You’re exactly right—And I say that specifically towards your bathroom advertising. Laugh a little, but I actually did research for a bathroom book idea that leads me to agree with this ad placement strategy.

I haven’t published the book yet; the research was just a project to fulfill my own curiosity to view the bathroom as a metaphorical escape to reflect and naturally, relieve yourself. There’s so much symbolism in the bathroom, I could go on…But placing your ad in this space is powerful. You position yourself in front of people while they’re on a “mental-break” and you ought to be successful in messaging a relaxed mind.

Besides, what else are they going to focus on? For whatever reason people are inclined to read in the bathroom. I commend you on providing literature. Before bathroom ads, all we had to read was the creative names of the stall manufacturers and the toilet paper dispensers.

If I think up any other mind-relaxed places, I’ll have to share. But I felt inclined to comment on your post today. Thanks!
